This is a nice spot to stop and read about a fire
This cache is a small container with a blue lid... has pencil and log book with ftf prize. with room for small items. for trade.
The story behind this cache is> On May 30/1983 a fire was started by a spark from a faulty spark arrester on a camp incinerator, The Hiway was closed from mile 132 to 137.. Big hint here. :-) The fire was discovered at 1:20 pm, by 1:40 it was already 5 ha. big, by 2:20 it was already 20 ha. The final contol @ 10:00 am June 4,1983 it had burned 8840 ha. hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
