Short easy walk across a mowed field. Cache is a 2# peanut butter jar.
*****THIS ENTIRE AREA IS PARK LAND even though on the maps it doesn't appear to be.******
Deer are frequently seen near this cache during early mornings and near dusk. This quiet little area is near a parking lot that is open year round. It's a short walk across a mowed field. This cache is easily accessible during the winter when the park gates are locked. There is a nearby Playground and picnic area to entertain the little ones.
Moorman Park and Wavering Park are adjacent parks that can keep the whole family occupied - They offer batting cages, miniature golf, Frisbee golf, paddle boat rentals, an archery range, and fishing areas. Wavering Aquatic Center features a 230 foot waterslide, sand volleyball court, baby pool, and diving pool.
