This small lock & lock is located at a public Park and Boat Landing in East Machias.
The park is on both sides of the road. The area has a lot to offer. On one side there are nice views of Gardner's Lake, a boat landing, grass area and picnic tables. There is a swimming area next to a small dam. The other side gives you a grass and tree area and toilet facilites. There is also a small stream.
