Geocache Description:

This micro container is located in the Brunswick Veterans Memorial Park in the village of Eagle Mills.

The village gets it's name from having at one time a flour mill and a garden hoe factory on the northwest bank of the Poesten kill creek, some of the structure still exists. The building on the east side of the creek housed a blacksmith shop. There was a dam about 200 feet south of the old bridge but was blown up in the early 1900's over a dispute as to the ownership of the ice that was cut in the winter time. Take some time and look up and down stream at the scenic creek. Parking on the "Old Brunswick Road" mere feet from the cache.
