Geocache Description:

Another film-themed puzzle. The published co-ordinates lead you to where the small track branches off the bigger one. You will have to calculate the cache location.


Fleeing?

I'm scared of dragons!		 This cache remembers the novel and movie "Eragon". We have dedicated the cache to EragonSaphira (a caching team) who introduced us to this wonderful pastime.

Dragons like nice quiet places to think. We found a lovely spot with a tree to perch in and a beautiful river featuring an ox-bow lake in the making.

To get to this tranquil spot.
  1. Work out VVV and HHH. (See below)
  2. Follow the main paths in the reserve to the published co-ordinates. (S 25° 48.813 E 028° 17.183) Here you will find a side path. You do not have to bundu bash at all. At the trailhead there is a winding path leading off the main path that goes all the way to the final location.
  3. Now go to S25 48.VVV E28 17.HHH and find the cache!
To solve the puzzle: Remember that A=1,B=2,C=3 etc.
  • VVV: Find the name of the evil king who killed all the dragons. Add up the value of the letters in his name. Multiply by 7 and add 34.
  • HHH: What is the surname of the young author of the book? Add up the value of the letters in his name. Multiply by 3 and subtract 50.

The Moreleta Nature Reserve is situated in the east of Pretoria. Access to the park is free and you can park safely at S 25° 49.017 E028° 17.462.
