The building at 1500 Bronson Avenue is an excellent example of
Modernist architecture and is a Federal heritage building. It was
designed in the early 1960s by the Chief Architect of the CBC,
David McKinstry. [The CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre is now located in
downtown Ottawa at 181 Queen Street and is the home of the Canadian
Broadcasting Corporation’s head office and radio and television
staff responsible for the National Capital Region.]
