Scullycat's Tomar Tree Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marvin the Garmin: I had a frustrating day of not finding caches in evergreen trees. I am so frustrated that I decided I no longer want to be part of that PTC cruelness anymore. Actually mine was a FTC (Fir not Pine Tree Cache.) My evergreen cache no longer exists! I took it out.

Geocache Description:

Scullycat's Tomar Tree

When I told my daughter -- Scullycat -- that I was thinking about putting a cache in a tree in Tomar Park she said something along the lines of "I would rather go hunt a little blinkie on a multi-level metal staircase at USF in January than go poking around in a tree that pokes back!" That's why I decided to name the cache after her. She also thought putting "tree" into the title was making it too easy. Well, which tree? There are a dozen to choose from. Which side of the tree? Is it at the base of the tree? Is it a little hanging thing on an outer branch? Is it a larger item nestled in the inner branches? Besides that, it would be obvious enough that it is a tree when you start getting close.

On a brrrrr day in November I went to check on this cache and could not find it where I recall placing it. I put a replacement container and log there. If, by chance, dear cacher, you find two containers please put them both in the same place and let me know.
