Geocache Description:

For those about to get their feet wet, we salute you. A traditional cache, hidden in the woods. Those not familiar with this area (satellite view is nice,) this is the part of Playwiki Park that people who always wear nice pants never see.

We know nothing of botany or erosion or even what you would call the "science of what happens to trees and plants and grass and stuff when bits of land get flooded over like, every other year." What we know is this: even the weeds look kinda nice. It's very lush. Sure, you're spitting out spider webs every three minutes, but you get to see what happens to plants and grass and stuff when bits of land get flooded...

Anyway, you are looking for a hopefully-thick-enough medium-sized plastic jar with a shiny screw-top lid. Rainfall is going to be a factor here, so don't be stupid. The whole park itself, parking lot and all, can get flooded with severe rain. If you don't feel comfortable making the cross, then do not do it. Also, don't walk across the water in front of the fisherman...they hate that. (Although apparently they might be able to help you find a way across..)

You may be looking at the map and thinking, "Ah, I'll just rock on down to Langhorne Avenue." Sorry, residential area. You park off of 213 (W.Maple Ave.) and drive under the picturesque bridges.

Terrain isn't TOO bad for an adult. Some small game paths. Lots of nature to stumble over, not to mention the odd piece of man-made debris. Probably best not to bring smaller children over (the Neshaminy Creek.) Otherwise, nice little park for the family.
