Pascal's Triangle Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueRajah: Hi ,

As there's been no cache to find for months, and/or there has been no communication on the cache page with the cache owner I'm archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!!!

Remember, the second number in each line is NOT the number of the line. The line number is that number plus one.

Blaise Pascal was a French mathematician considered to be the 17th century genius. He contributed to the field of mathematics, and on the way inventing a new kind of hydraulics. He was know for his statement about believing in God, but most famously for his Triangle, named after him when he found so many patterns in it. His Triangle is a pyramid of numbers that has numerous patterns in it. To locate this cache, you will have to figure out what one of the most basic patterns is and use it to complete a small portion of the triangle to get lost coordinate numbers. To start you off, here's the first five lines of it.

1
1 1
1 2 1
1 3 3 1
1 4 6 4 1

Already you can see that there are already patterns that aren't that hard to find, like the outside number is always a one. Or, that the second number of each row increases by one each row. These can help you to find the coordinates a little easier.
The coordinates are:

N 4a bc.def
W 111 gh.ijk

In the triangle, the number of the row is the second number in that row, and since the top row doesn't have a second number, it's line 0. So really, the 2nd row is line one. That is one problem that alot of people have had trouble with.
To find the missing
numbers, follow the clues.

A = 11th line, 4th number, 1st digit
B = 8th line, 5th number, 2nd digit
C = 10th line, 7th number, 2nd digit
D = 12th line, 6th number, 1st digit
E = 10th line, 2nd number, 1st digit
F = 12th line, 4th number, 2nd digit
G = 13th line, 4th number, add 4, divide by 58
H = 13th line, 7th number, divide by 4, first digit
I = 13th line, 6th number, add 1, divide by 8, 2nd digit
J = 9th line, 3rd number, sum of both digits
K = 11th line, 6th number, divide by 2, second digit
One more hint: if you add up the rows of numbers, the sum should double each time.
i.e.

1 = 1
1 1 = 2
1 2 1 = 4
1 3 3 1 = 8

There is an easy way to getting this cache, and most of you cheaters probably know that, but do this the right way, and it will be a lot more fun. Kinda like golf. Frustrating, but fun.
