Don't be fooled by the size of the reservoir on the map. The map shows the maximum it can get. It is not nearly this big.
This should be another easy to find Cache The Cache is located on property owned by the Army Corps of Engineers; (Conant Brook Dam) in the town of Monson, MA. The Cache is a .30 cal ammo can, stocked with the usual trade items such as tennis balls, jewelry, stickers and a matchbox car. Total round trip is about 1 mile. There are two trails you can use. One heads generally South and the other heads generally East. Either one of the well-established trails will get you there. About 50’ of light bushwhacking is required to get to the Cache. There is easy parking at: N 42° 4.713’ W 72° 17.269’ where both trail heads start.
