Geocache Description:

My Webelos den from Cub Scout Pack 168 in Kanawha City put this cache and container together to commemorate the crossover of our 5th grade Webelos into Boy Scouts. The cache is being submitted on the actual day of the crossover. There is a variety of items in the cache, some of which are scouting-related. I also included a pinewood derby car kit (FTF?) which is symbolic of Cub Scouting nationwide. If you take the car kit please post a picture of the car when it is complete!

[Update] This cache is the second cache hidden in the Wallace-Hartman Nature Preserve. This is a little-known preserve run by the West Virginia Land Trust. Trails are marked and are easy to follow. There are two trailheads. One is at the end of Adrian Rd. There is a small parking area at the end of the road on the right hand side that is big enough for two cars. If you stay on South Ruffner and go up the hill, instead of Adrian Rd., you will arrive at the second trailhead which is marked by a trailhead sign and also a sign thanking Boy Scout Troop 31 which my son joined after completing Webelos. The short path behind the guardrail to the trail and split rail fence was his Eagle project years ago! Enjoy!
