While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates are to a grave stone. Use the method below to get the actual co-ordinates of the cache which is placed a short distance away.

Fore church can be found in the village of Reipå in Meløy Kommune. Originally built in 1909 it is now currently undergoing its second restoration in time for its 100 year aniversary next year.

The grave stone that these co-ordinates point to is easily defined by its height, and the material used to build it is unique. The grave is that of the old school master whose school is now the museum that can be found in Reipå.

To find the co-ordinates of the cache note down the date of the persons birth and death and use the following formula.

Birth : d1d2 / m1 / y1y2y3y4
Death: d3d4 / m2 / y5y6y7y8

The x values are the same as the published ones so it is only the last 3 digits that need to be replaced.
