This micro cache is hidden in College Park. Not too difficult unless park is busy with kids. Terrain is not normal terrain for the FONZ.
College Park is a one block square made into a playground type park for neighborhood kids from the historical location of one of the city's first colleges. In 1858 Father James Powers had a 3 story brick building erected at 13th and Henry for Christian Brothers College. It was discontinued during the Civil War and used by Federal troops as their barracks. In 1867 it was reopened by Brother Noah for use as a college again. In 1886 the old building was made part of the new modern structure. (does that mean inside plumbing?) 1892 permit number 2478 was issued for addition of a greenhouse. 1st floor was used as Gymnasium and Dining Hall. 2nd floor was used as a Chapel and recreation rooms. 3rd floor was used as a dormitory for the students. It was demolished in 1928 with permit #5975 issued 11/1/1928 by C H Perrin. Cache probably not good for wheelchair cachers unless they had assistance. Normal micro with log, and very little space for trade items. Special dollar coin for FTF. Please be aware of muggles in the area (It is a public park) and bring small swag to trade. St Joseph Park and Recreation has given permission for placement of this cache.
