This is one of four caches in a four mile circular route designed to be walked in an anti-clock wise direction starting from the car park as way marked. It is hoped this will appeal to families, as there is plenty to see on the way. Please note the paths can be muddy so boots or wellies are advisable.
This cache is a short distance off the main path in an area of unusual caves. Take a torch if you want to explore them.
From Lazy Tree cache return to the footpath and follow it until you reach a crossroads (or should that be crosspaths!) Take the right hand path (southerly direction) and follow this path going straight on until you go through a gap in the wall near a ruined building. Just before the stile into the field head downhill on a path to where you will find the cache.
Before you return to the main path you may like to explore the nearby caves (see waypoint). You can almost explore them without a torch as the holes in the limestone let a lot of day light in.
After climbing back up to the main path climb over the stile and head across the middle of the field joining a rutted track leading down to a gateway. Follow the next track to the A590, this is a very busy road but you can walk in the grass verge and across the garage forecourt and you will soon come to the ‘OLD’ A590, now blocked off, where you are parked if you used the suggest parking place.
