From ohjoy!: When I was in 8th grade, my parents selected a clarinet as my instrument of choice. I took a few lessons through school and then just practiced and learned on my own. The three years I spent at Calvin, I was in the band - just squeaked in as last chair clarinet. The fun of that position was that when percussion occasionally needed assistance, I was the one called upon to help. At that time my "little" brother needed a clarinet, so mine was given to him. Over the years my first 5 kids selected other instruments. Finally the 6th one selected a clarinet and I discovered that I could still play it. Have you ever played a clarinet? Here's your chance. What do you know about a clarinet? Can you answer the following questions? How many finger holes? Seven Does moisture collect inside? Yes Does the moisture drain out? Yes Are they usually black? Usually, but not here. So how much water do you think it would take to fill a clarinet? Want to find out? Then try this cache. A non-musical note - a huge thanks to Caveboy_Ken for construction assistance. CONGRATULATIONS TO SUPER FLY!! He was FTF on both positions.
