This location was for years a seasonal rest stop along Route 120 a "scenic byway " between Lock Haven and Renovo. It contained a few picnic tables, fire pit/grills and Job Johnny's but has been closed.( It was still in operation when I placed the cache in 2008) It closed ? my guess is because of a newly created Bakers Run canoe/kayak launch area that is now supplying parking and restrooms, it is located about 3 miles away, towards Lock Haven from the cache on the same scenic byway know as The Renovo Road by the locals. You will need to brave the weeds and overgrown grass as the grounds are no longer maintained. Becareful on parking as the former parking area has been closed off by guard rails and you'll need to park on the side of the road. I recommend Parking on the same side as the former rest stop and either slightly before or after the guard rails, this will allow you to get off the road better.
Please return to a well hidden spot and cover to conceal.
Congratulations to sawyerbug on the FTF!
