A basic cache set in one of our state parks. The cache is on the
trail. The trail is fairly straight as it follows the top of a old
dune between swales. Due to the wet conditions bug spray will be
needed in season.
Albert E. Sleeper State Park, is situated on the north west tip
of the thumb has 723 acres of forest, wetlands, sandy beach and
dunes located on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. The northern edge
of the park is beautiful beaches on the Saginaw Bay shore.
Camping is available either at one of the 226 modern campsites
or at one of the 13 cabins. A Michigan State Park Motor Vehicle
Permit is required for entry.
