CAMPING THEMED AMMO BOX, 3 STAGE MULTI, please take note that if it has been raining, the water will be up over the bridge to the trail
coordinates are for the first stage of a 3 stage Multi cache, covering 2.25 miles of trails around Cross Timbers State Park at Toronto Lake. Park at Toronto Point, Chatauqua Trailhead and follow the trails. The trails can be muddy, rocky and involves some steps and stream crossings, but you are likely to see some wildflowers, birds, and wildlife. This is a camping themed cache, with lots of goodies to start out.
There are several campsites nearby as well as opportunities for fishing on the lake. A pass is required for use and at time of publication it was $4.20 for a day pass. Check out the caches at Ancient Trees Trail also.
