This is a micro in Demopolis.
This cache is the first in the Historic Demopolis Tour. Several more will follow in the upcoming weeks. It is located at the Old School which now serves as the home of a local theatre group known as the Canebrake Players. In 1912, the old school was built. It contained grades 1-11 at that time. Since then the Demopolis City School System has grown to include two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school that educates children in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grades.
The cache is a 35mm film container so bring your own pen.
It is best to pick up this cache during the day because the area is not well-lit at night. Stealth may be required. Plays are performed on a quarterly basis so dramatic muggles won't interfere very often. The area also hosts football practice for a pee-wee football team in the fall, and it will be frequented by locals during the Christmas season for various events. However, cachers should be just fine as this place isn't nearly as busy as some of the other cache sites in the area.
