While out caching with Team Evil Fish, and helping him place a couple of new caches today, we parked near-by this area, as we were leaving to head over to BullDog Canyon so I could go find GC57 (The oldest cache in Arizona), we both looked at this spot at the same time, and had the same idea. Fortunately, I still had a cache container with log, that was perfect for this spot. It is a small container with room for the log, and a few smal trade items. This will be an easy find, and you'll need to a place to park, anyway.
This cache is in the Tonto National Forest, so you will need a pass to park. A day pass is $6, and is available at several of the convenience stores on the way to the area.
It is also only open from sunrise to sunset.
There are literally several dozen caches in this part of the Tonto, including 2 of the oldest caches in Arizona.
So take the family, or take some friends. And make a day of it.
