Overland Trail On 789 Traditional Cache

     There was a cache at this location at one time, one of the first we ever looked for but it was gone when we went to look for it. The owner paid no attention to the cache and did not respond to inquiries so it was eventually archived some time ago. I have wanted to place a cache here ever since the previous was archived and today became that day since we were in the area looking for a cache anyway. I have a cache in a similar location on Highway 130/230 south of Wolcott. This is a pretty small container, hidded pretty well yet findable for about any geocacher with some experience. Be sure to read the plaques to learn of the history of this area and the trail itself. The Overland Trail was an important conduit for traffic moving west and was the route of the Pony Express for some time. This area is rich in history and learning about it is very much worth your while.
