Geocache Description:

Located on a dirt road that MAY NOT be OK for 2WD in the wet.

The cache is placed at a plaque that marks the eastern point of a 7.6km base line which was used to coordinate the then arbitrary, independent, state-based surveys for the commencement of the first National Australian Mapping Program in June/July 1934 by a surveying party from the Australian Survey Corps.

There is a non-trackable personalised coin for the first finder.
