The cache is hidden in the Daugherty Hill Wildlife Area just west of Marysville Road near Collins Lake. It involves a two-tenths mile hike from the parking area. I trimmed back the poison oak near the cache, but be careful as it tends to grow back.
NOTE (5-7-09): RATTLESNAKE SEEN NEAR THE CACHE
The cache is one of several that I have placed in the wildlife area. Each is named after a bird that I have seen in the vicinity. Several of these little fellows scurried along the trail at this location.
