A relatively easy to find cache containing the usual log book, pencil and goodies.
Almost called this Kakadon't due to all the restrictions I encountered setting up some caches in this World Heritage listed National Park. "Don't leave the path - Fine $110", "Aboriginal Land Don't Enter" "Restricted- Mining Lease" etc etc. Not really a very accessible park which is why Litchfield is more popular with the locals.
Having got that off my chest, I did manage to hide a number of Caches at significant tourist attractions without placing them in cultural or environmentally sensitive areas (near car parks mainly).
The Cache is located on the Arnhem Highway at the gateway to Kakadu national park. The park consists of 20,000 square kilometres of flood plains, woodland and escarpments. Despite the restrictions you will have a great time here. Some areas may however be closed during the "Wet".
