Geocache Description:

To find this cache, first you should travel to the little town of Innot Hot Springs which is between Ravenshoe and Mount Garnet on the Atherton tablelands.
As the town name suggests there are hot springs here. Take the time to explore the waters of the nearby creek or visit the pools in the caravan park.
Continue towards Mount Garnet till you reach a dirt track on your left at S17 41.076 E145 13.888.
From here it's approximately 5kms to GZ. A 2wd vehicle would be able to make the journey with caution but the track has some ruts and rocky sections to navigate.
When you reach the cache location you'll be able to view the "Nettle creek Tin Dredge" which was in use from 1957 to 1992.
Please exercise extreme caution if you choose to climb on the ruins as there are some missing hand rails and many loose or missing floor plates on the top decks.
The contents of the cache include the usual swaps and an information card which will give you all the history of this amazing machine.
