Geocache Description:

Located in the Mt. Woodson trail system at an elevation of 2,489 ft. It is a long strenuous hike, so take plenty of water! You can start at Poway Lake (our favorite) or at Archie Moore Rd and Mt. Woodson Way.

The cache is a small tin now, the larger caches kept disappearing. The 5 of us hike Mt. Woodson every year around Jim and Guy's birthdays. It's known as the "Dad's Hike" and started in 1995. This year (2008) we decided to hide our own cache.
