The “Tour de Matchedash” Series is an 8 cache
series placed to showcase the beauty and solitude of the Matchedash
Lake, Upper Eastern Lake and Lower Eastern Lake areas of the
Matchedash Barrens.

Time...
You've been on the water now for about 45 minutes
if conditions were good. The first portage starts here and
the carry over is about 100 feet so don't unpack the canoe just yet
but to stretch your cramped legs and so you can get a bit of a view
we placed this cache so that you will have to climb that
hill. To get to the cache it will be necessary to come
down to it from the top as it is too hard to access from the
bottom.
I didn't take any pictures here as the camera was
in the bottom of my pack so you're on your own. The view is
worth it.
