Placed in Geist Park. You are searching for a 1-1/2 quart black plastic jar.
I love hiking through rough terrain. So, this cache is placed in rough terrain within Geist Park. There are 3 ways to get to this cache:
1. By boat, through the inlet to the marina;
2. Follow the current paths and wade across a 2' deep creek and bushwack through the swamp; or
3. The way I placed it... Enter the woods and 50 yds ahead you will come to a fence (from before the area became a park). You can go 20 yds to the left and go near the water to get around, or 10 yds to the right and go over where the fence has fallen due to high water. Then, proceed through the marsh to the hide.
Beware... this one made me cringe, and I am a Marine that loves nasty conditions. Be prepared for the following:
Soft ground
Nettles
Standing water (be prepared to get wet)
Logs to climb over
Tight conditions due to brush
Have fun finding, I had fun hiding.
