121 Tech Team: Apparently the railroad folks have chosen to replace the item which used to host our wacky little cache system. We will investigate ASAP to see if we can duplicate what once was, or if we have to devise something totally different. Either way, we'll do some sort of restoration.

Geocache Description:

Originally a "WWFM III" event placement. Cache is at the Meredith staging area for the Winnipesaukee Railroad.

This location also allows you to check out the cool rolling stock of the scenic RR which uses some of the last active remnants of the rail system that once serviced the Northwestern area of the big lake. If you're a rail buff, or if you haven't seen much of this area of the lake, it's a fun ride which, in-season, you may want to take while you're there. For more info on rides, rates, and/or history of the system, click here.

Container is a typical boat key float which "delivers itself" to you in an unusual way. Please don't remove the other stuff attached to it... it's there for a reason. Muggle activity can be high at arrival/departure times so use stealth as needed. Ample parking is directly on-site.

Please be gentle during the retrieve/re-hide process so others can enjoy the same experience you did. We like the funky little thing too much to change it. Yanking, jerking, or other aggressive treatment is totally unnecessary. Forces of nature do all the work! You'll understand better when you find it. Thanks and happy hunting!

NOTE: We're having occasional trouble with people not resetting the cache after the find. This leaves it in plain muggle view and denies the next cacher a correct example to repeat from. Please reset it as found and save us a lot of maintenance!
