The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this cache it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival and, if possible, I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute in the past and I am looking forward to your continued contributions to the sport of Geocaching.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

a record or narrative description of past events; all that is remembered of the past as preserved in writing; a body of knowledge; "like historic markers" a cammo typed cookie tin

This is a reverse multi which the coords will lead you to the cache but then I ask you to complete the second half of the cache to get a better feel of this history lesson. You are not required to complete the second of this cache for full credit but it would be nice.

Sign the cache and then head to the historic marker.

Take a picture with you and your gps with the markers in the background and then answer these three questions:

1. What is the first date that appears on the historic marker? 2. Who was the native resident of Jonson City this marker talks about? 3. What does the three stars represent according to the marker? Happy Hunting
