Geocache Description:

the Cache is an Ammo can near the River.there is some Bush wacking required but look for the trails they'll make it Easier.

Warning this area is Full of Posion Ive and Oak and there has been trouble with Hobo's and Such in the Past but it looks as if the New Contruction and activity in the Area has moved then out .but use caution just the Same. Nearest Parking is the Playland Park Parking Lot! The Easiest way there is to take the Dodge park exit from east bound I-480.There is no west Bound exit here but there is an on ramp to west I-480 from the Park, Use a Map to find the best way in if you are headed west there are a Couple of ways in.
This cache is near the only thing left of the trolley and Wagon Bridge built by the street trolly Company over the river in 1888. if you look to the Northwest from the Cache Location you will see what it is. the Bridge was Originaly Named the Douglas St. Bridge. It was Widened in 1922. when the Knights of Ak-sar-ben purchased the Bridge in 1936 and Renamed it to the AK-Sar-Ben Bridge the brige was still a Toll Bridge. the Faires where Dropped in About 1947. the Bridge was torn Down in 1968 after the new bridge was built in 1966.
