A cave so big, that once there was a train going inside!
One of the biggest caves in Europe - 'Devetashkata Cave'! According
to archeological research, it sheltered people since the late
Paleolithic era. Devetashka cave is a monument of culture and a
place of national and international significance and protection.
The Devetashka cave is settled only at the distance of 15 km. to
the north of Lovech. It is one of the biggest caves in Bulgaria.
This natural phenomenon is about 1500 meters long and has huge
entrance - 60 m high. A Bulgarian scientist discovered the cave in
1921.
Later, the cave was used by the military as a secret military
object. They build a real railroad, leading to the entrance of the
cave - you can still see the abandoned bridge across the river. Can
you imagine that the train was actually going inside the cave?
Amazing, but it's true...!
Anyways, the cave is not a secret object anymore - it is now a
beautiful place, full of muggles, opened for anyone to enjoy!
The cache is a medium-sized plastic box; located at the entrance of
the cave. Because of the bad reception in there; you will have to
follow your GPS to the main cave entrance; and from there - you'll
have to find the cache by following the pictures!
Can you solve the puzzle?
