Come and visit Petersfield Provincial Park - officially open May 20 to October 10 - the 23-acre park features numerous walking trails, interpretive displays and a picnic area. The park is available throught the winter months, however the wooden directional signs are removed.
YOU MUST FIND ALL 3 PARTS OF THIS CACHE FOR CREDIT - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SIGN THE COORDINATE INFO IN STAGE 1 OR 2 - ONLY SIGN THE LOG IN STAGE 3.
The 2 stages (formerly 3 stages) leading to the final cache are within 15 feet of the path, all at least 3 feet off the ground and with the required information inside. The coordinates given are for the 1st stage, which is a baggie only with the coordinate info for the 2nd stage. The 2nd stage and the final stage are purple. The final stage is a larger micro containing a log (please bring your own pen/pencil. You must sign log for credit and please replace all 3 micros as found. The final stage just unscrews from the bottom - please do not detach from location.
The cache is winter friendly, however the walk may require an effort or snowshoes and the parking lot is not plowed in the winter months.
