The terrain on this is extremely easy, except in the off season, the terrain could jump up to 2 due to having to park in the off-season’s parking lot and walking down and back up a small hill. The difficulty is high mostly due to the muggle factor, especially on a Saturday or a Sunday. The park rangers should not be considered muggles, they should know about the cache. Say hi to them as you are searching, I’m sure watching you look for this one will be quite entertaining for them.
The cache is hidden at Hop Brook Lake Park. Hop Brook is a US Army Corps of Engineers park. We have received permission from the Corps to place this cache. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. – about a half hour before sunset or 8pm, whichever comes 1st, from the 3rd Saturday in April until Columbus Day. There is a fee $4.00 per vehicle to enter the park (fee booth is open the weekend before Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor Day from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Fee booth attendants and kiosks in the park have maps for you to use.
