Eamon deValera
Eamon de Valera (1882-1975) was the 3rd President of Ireland. An American citizen, born in New York City, he was instrumental in the founding of the Irish Republic and is reputed to be the principle author of the Irish Constitution.

'Dev's Dodge' is a 1947 4 Door Dodge Sedan, last owned by Eamon DeValera. Prior to this it belonged to Sean T. OCeallaigh, deValeras predecessor as Head of State. It is in good working order and is seen driving on special occasions such as St. Patricks Day, on the streets of Ennis.
It was presented to Clare County Council in 1988 by the deValera family.
