The Place
Where
Michigan
Was
Born,
There are
magical places on this planet that still speak to something in our
hearts, places so gorgeous and diverse that they allow us to know
exhilaration and peace, awe and understanding. The Sault Ste. Marie
region is one such place. Rushing waterfalls give way to majestic
forests, rocky coastlines lead to picturesque lighthouses, and
engineering feats of man stand side-by-side with small fishing
skiffs and buckets of bait.
Michigan
’s first place has long welcomed those looking for a place that
speaks to them of a life lived differently, whether for a weekend
or a lifetime. Come to Sault Ste. Marie, and let yourself step back
and step closer—to your friends, to your family and even to
yourself. You will be amazed at what you find in this wondrous part
of the world
