Geocache Description:

Stay on trail until close to cache. Easy hike .35 of mile. Trail follows the Nonesuch river at times. Short hike beyond cache are the old Eastern Railroad bridge footings overlooking Nonesuch river.

Typical cache made our of .50 cal ammo container. Started with all sorts of odds n ends. Santa's Sleigh bell, plastic animals, refrig. magnet, toothpick holder, jacks,Princess Jasmine,a baby block and fake gold coin. Starting point for three travel bugs racing to Calf. First out of the gate, Frosty the Snowman. More to follow. As of now the Eastern trail stops a short way beyond this cache where the footings of the old rail road bridge can be seen. Very nice view of the Nonesuch river. In time a bridge will be built to extend the Eastern Trail to Bug Light in South Portland.
