This is located about 25 Mins walk from nearest main Rd.Wear boots or wellies if it is wet. It is located in a cavity of an old stone wall largely covered with moss....no need to demolish the wall as it is visible on close inspection. Sit and enjoy the distant view of Ben Lomond, Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills!
The cache consists of a 0.4L plastic container. As it is coming up for 20th Birthday this year read previous logs for current content information. The container is wrapped with black plastic film. It is almost at 180 degrees to the metal bench. There are now two benches for a deserved rest. One is dedicated to a local soldier who was killed in Afghanistan in 2006. DIFFICULT TO FIND IF SNOW IS DEEPER THAN 200mm(BRING YOUR SKIS INSTEAD!)..... OTHERWISE SAFE FOR A WINTER SEARCH
