Geocache Description:

The bush can be quite spooky at night.
Here's your chance to experience it for yourself.

This cache involves traveling off track through rugged West Coast bush at night. Please prepare appropriately, wear appropriate footwear and carry a spare torch.

Follow your GPS (along the track) to the listed co-ordinates.

Standing on the item at the listed co-ords, use a torch or LED lamp to scan the trees for a reflective firetack. (there's more than one option on the track so you will need to use your GPS in order to ensure you're at the right spot).

Follow the trail of firetacks until you get to a group of 3 in the one spot. There you'll find the cache.

Note that you will need your GPS to find your way back to the car as the firetacks won't all be visible on your return trip. Some GPSr's will struggle with this due to the surrounding tree cover, so I suggest that you try setting waypoints at every 2nd or 3rd firetack along the way in, so that you can use them to verify that you're on the correct route on your way back out.
You may even want to consider taking spare torches or cylume glow sticks to use as trail markers on your way in, in order to find your way back out again.

This cache is in natural West Coast rain forest. Please be wary of your environment and be careful not to damage plants or spook animals. Watch your footing and be wary of slippery slopes and steep drop offs.
