The settlement of Ludwig was located along Joachim Creek between the settlements of Silica and Festus in Jefferson County, Missouri. It could be reached by taking the main road into town which is now called Horine road. The settlement was started sometime in the early 1900's, but eventually became part of Festus.
This cache is located in the Ludwig Nature Area of the Festus West City Park. The above coordinates will take you to the parking area and a posted sign. On the sign, near the top, you will find a 3 digit number. Add the three digits together and the sum will be called "A". Next to that, you will find a 4 digit number. Add the four digits together and the sum will be called "B". Near the bottom of the sign, inside a circle, you will find a 4 digit number. Add the four digits together and the sum will be called "C".
