Deze cache is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met een Deens team, Farogdatter, die wij in Denemarken zijn tegengekomen. Samen met dit team hebben wij een aantal caches in Denemarken gevonden. Toen we afscheid namen van elkaar vroegen zij of wij al een eigen cache hadden. Nee, was ons antwoord, waarop Far uit zijn rugtas een filmkokertje met logrol haalde en deze aan ons gaf. "Hier heb je alvast een begin", was de mededeling. Voor ons dus het laatste zetje om onze eerste cache te plaatsen.
This cache came into being as a result of the combined work of 2 teams; namely Farogdatter and us, who we came upon in Denmark. We found a few caches with this team in Denmark. When it was time to part ways and say goodbye, they asked us if we had our own cache. Our answer was no. One of the Denmark team; namely Far, pulled a film roll container out of his rucksack with a “logroll” in it and gave it to us. “Here you have a beginning” he said. That was the final push we needed to hide our own cache.
Deze plek is letterlijk en figuurlijk een rustpunt tussen Rotterdam en Delft. Als je op het bankje zit zie je voor je een mooi stuk polder met aan de horizon de skyline van Rotterdam. Achter je is het natuurgebied van Natuurmonumenten "de Ackerdijkse plassen" met aan de horizon, soms bijna niet te zien, de Grote Kerk van Delft. Gebruik het bankje om even tot rust te komen van alle dagelijkse beslommeringen en hectiek. Geniet van het uitzicht. Neem zelf een pen mee.

This place is literally and figuratively a place of rest between Rotterdam and Delft. If you sit on the bench, you will see, in front of you, a beautiful piece of “polder”, you will also see the beautiful skyline of Rotterdam on the horizon. The area of "Natuur Monumenten", "de Ackersdijkse Plassen", and the Big Church of Delft are behind you. The church is not always visible. Use the bench to rest a while and let the stresses of the day wash over you. Enjoy the view. Bring your own ballpoint.
