A sometimes muddy, but always beautiful, walk along the banks of the river medina to the languishing hulk of the old paddle ship the Ryde Queen
A 40-60 minute walk from Newport Quay, Island Harbour or could be approached from East Cowes. For a shorter walk, approx 15 minutes,(or some welcome refreshment if taking the longer route) park at the Folly Inn (N50 43.449 W001.16.845). The terrain and mud are not friendly to pushchairs or wheelchairs, but much loved by water dogs who like to get covered in gunk, like my friend Ollie who helped me place this cache.
The cache is a small cylindrical clip-lock. It contained a log book, pen and sundry small goodies on re-placing.
