Geocache Description:


This cache is on public land (county park) and is full of kids stuff. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION ON 9-16-01 A GEOCACHER REPORTED A RATTLESNAKE HAD TAKEN UP RESIDENCE ON THE CACHE. I WILL EVICT THE CRITTER ON 9-17-01. UPDATE 04-21-02: A CACHER REPORTED TWO RATTLESNAKE SIGHTINGS ON 4-20-02. NOT IN THE CACHE BUT NEAR THE CACHE. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION, STAY ON THE TRAIL AND KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN. Update 05-15-02: The cache is still there. I checked on 05-14-02 and put in another log book, I heard the other was nearly full. Update 3-21-03, new logbook placed in cache. The other contents are: 8/18/09 replaced with ammo box. but a hint for those who want to avoid the "itchy stuff" approach this one from the south side of the fence and bushwack through tall grass rather than coming from the north on the trail and crawling through the poison oak.
