I've been out to Enchanted Rock a number of times but having to drive to Fredericksburg or Llano just seems so out of the way. So I found this nice short cut between US 71 & Hwy 16 along the county roads of Llano County!
Most of the short cut is dirt road but there is some hot top areas.
There are some creek crossings too, some with "bridges" and some with no bridges WHAT SO EVER! I highly recommend 4x4/AWD vehicals!
I don't recommend low profile vehicals crossing the 2 non-bridge crossings of Sandy Creek. (Just ask The Outlaw about his experience a few years ago!)
You are looking for camo'ed film canister size containers in various locations.
I don't recommend doing these caches after a rain storm.
