lathama: Came here today hoping to uncover the cache and get it working again.
However GZ has changed greatly since I placed the cache 9 years ago. The wall and trees are starting to collapse and so I took the difficult desicion to let nature win and archive the cache.
Stopped in the woodman afterwards for a beer to drown my sorrows.

I'm so pleased so many people enjoyed this cache.
I worked at whitemead in 2008 and have enjoyed the maintenance trips when I've needed to do them

But now it's time to say thank you and goodbye

Geocache Description:

An easy cache near where i now work!

This cache is hidden on a route path outside of the Forestry Commission boundaries on an area called Whitemead. This is a holiday park and adventure centre for local people and campers.

The cache is hidden on a connecting path between the road to Parkend and the forest. If you continue up the hill and through the gate, you will come to a lovely rope swing - great for kids!

Cache is a small (but long) test tube.
