The cache is hidden on a public highway, no need to enter any parks or private property. Some pavements nearby are quite narrow, so care should be taken with children or dogs. A small magnetic brass container is the prize.
St Joseph (or Holy Joes) is a local landmark in Highgate dominating the view from the cache site. Its copper covered dome towers 130 feet above the level of the cross of St Pauls. Built on the site of an old drovers public house called The Old Black Dog the current building dates from 1889 and is designed in the Italian Romanesque style to match the next door Retreat.
