Geocache Description:

Convenient to The Loop 101 Westbound & Southbound!

Like a lot of old hotels along the main streets of the USA, The Hotel Pima fell on hard times with the opening of the nearby Super-highway. When the Loop 101 opened the Old Pima Rd went downhill. Travelers bypassed the old thoroughfare for more luxurious accommodations and quicker travel.

Most business closed up shop and went with the times, but not the Hotel Pima. Although the money to replace the “E” in its sign isn’t there, the Hotel Pima has found a niche market and now caters to wayward Travel bugs looking for a place to kick back and relax during their travels.

Swag is freely traded as well at the Hotel’s gift shop.

Have a travel bug that needs to rest bit before going on its way? Check in to the Hot L Pima. While there, feel free to browse the gift shop as well.
