Pilot Hill LookOut is at the posted coordinates. The cache is
NOT. Don't try to go there. I tried to go there over and over and
over again. If you try you'll end up in some strangers backyard or
trespassing in one form or another.
For the cache, you'll have to pretend you are taking in the
views from Pilot Hill LookOut (very cool
). You are looking through the
guides of your compass (corrected to true north of course) and
at a bearing of 156 degrees you see Salmon Falls Road. What do
you know - that's right where the cache is!
The cache is on the western side of the road in a large oak. If
you are short, you may need a boost.
Note - there may be a couple spots for this intersection. Cache
is at the northernmost intersection and since you can see the road
from the lookout you can also see the lookout from the cache
(road). If you are questionable, use the hint.
