Geocache Description:


As always with Dartmoor good boots and wet weather gear is a must.

Brisworthy Stone Circle consists of twenty-four surviving stones of an original forty-two that form a circle 24.7 (81 feet) in diameter. The tallest stones are at the north, the tallest being 1.1m (3 feet 8 inches) high. Only 3 stones were standing prior to reconstruction in 1909.

The cache is situated roughly half way between the stone circle and a stone row.
