Der Sprödentalplatz, bildet topografischen gesehen den Mittelpunkt von Krefelds. Er ist Schauplatz von Großveranstaltungen, wie Ausstellungen, Trödelmärkte und großen Volksfesten.
Der Cache ist auch bei Veranstaltungen zu finden, da er nicht direkt auf dem Platz liegt, sondern außerhalb.
